We are pleased to announce the exhibition comedie concrete with artists David Robbins, Ken Kagami, Cobra, Trevor Shimizu, Sean Landers and Scott Reeder. As a gallery, we have for many years been Inspired by the writings and work of Milwaukee-based David Robbins; comedie concrete aims to present a selection of work that embodies our interpretation of Robbins's Concrete Comedy as an artistic practice in which an art / contemporary cultural vernacular is utilized as the primary medium for the generation of humor. The exhibition highlights the dissolution of a clear distinction between artist and comedian.
